| Did you know that you can permanently remove rust from your objects? Evapo-Rust ™ is an endorsed product that can completely remove rust. Rust is a common name given to corrosion of iron and its alloys such as steel. When given sufficient time, oxygen and water rust can completely disintegrate iron. Other disintegrating solutions are sulfur oxide in water and carbon dioxide in water. After extensive research and numerous tests conducted under different conditions, Evapo-Rust ™ has been ranked as America's top rust remover. |
This is because it is not toxic or corrosive, it is biodegradable making it safe for sewer disposal, it dissolves in water, has no fumes, it contains no solvents, acids or bases and it is 100% safe on skin. It is also very economical. steel. Though the product is very tough on rust, it does not harm or affect plastics, most paints, PVC or Vinton. Evapo-Rust ™ removes rust through a process known as selective chelation. Selective chelation involves a large synthetic molecule forming a bond with metals and holding them in solution. The outstanding ingredient in Evapo-Rust ™ is designed to bond only to iron. This means that it extracts only iron from iron oxide. |
After iron has been extracted, a sulfur molecule, which is organic, takes the iron away from the agent forming a ferric sulphate complex which remains water soluble. This means that if Evapo Rust is used on un-rusted steel it will not affect it as it only reacts to rust. Evapo-Rust ™ is easy to use and doesn't involve any scrubbing. All you need is to pour enough amounts that will completely cover your object and then immerse the object into the solution. If the object is lightly rusted, let it stay for about 10 minutes. With heavy rust, let the object stay in the solution overnight. After the process is through, rinse your object with water. Should any rust remain, repeat the process again until you obtain the desirable results. To prevent rust for up to 2 weeks, dip the object back into the solution and air dry it. |
